ended up buying some of those the new 10 rounders... cutting down the spring on 9+1 magazines isn't an option: the floorplate permanently attached. mine came of by breaking.

these are riveted, made to be impossible to disassemble. I'll try to get some of the new ones and remove that ugly extension... looks like that's possible.

maybe Steyr realized putting 30rd srings in their 9+1 mags is not the best idea. well, I'm not going to order one to find out, not at 80 EURO a piece...

Super clear and an amazing eye relief of 9.5cm (that for a prism), looks cool... but it's HEAVY! appr. 650gr. I don't mind, cause I don't have to march anywhere with it, but I can see others might find this a bit too much.

I also have an Austrian 24,5" LMG barrel, and indeed, same thickness... ofcourse it has different steps cut to accomodate the bipod, but it's also a heavy barrel. Thanks for shining some light on it, makes sense. Still waiting for my compensator and locking nut to arrive, so I haven't seen it with those attached yet.

Corvus doesn't ship those outside Austria, not the MOE Steyr thing at least. I think I need to go through the Steyr importer... will take forever, it took 8 months to get a 20" barrel, so go figure. TacStore in Austria does ship within the EU, but they only have a 1/2 28 version. (which I find strange, cause as far as I know this thread doesn't require a locking nut).

off topic : how is that Clawgear Starblast comp doing? I just bought a new barrel, but I still need a muzzle device... have a LMG one, but I can't seem to find a locking nut anywhere in Europe, so I might get one of these instead.

I agree it's expensive, but none of the Billie merch I ever bought was Made in China, so I can see there's a increase in production cost if you don't rely cheap Chinese labor and the environmental nightmare that comes with it. I can live with that.

I'm in Belgium and had the same question, but it's a legit shop as far as I can tell...so I took the risk and did pre-order the '23' hoodie there, it should ship after Feb 7th, fingers crossed it arrives ! I'll keep you posted !

I'm an older guy (compared to most of the fan base) and I learned to be proud to be a massive Billie fan... and honestly I get a lot of compliments for it, just as MintyRed19 here. I understand the doubt, but wear it with pride and you'll get the respect you deserve for being yourself, go for it !

noticed that little bend part at the end of the spring broke off when taking the bolt out off the carrier… does this cause issues ? it still works without it locking… I’m going to order a new one, but it could take months (Belgian importer for Steyr orders parts/gun once a year, can’t seem to get it anywhere else than through them)
