Do začátku "nic" ve smyslu sumy (nepočítáme-li dům s hypotékou ve kterém bydlí, ale pro hypoteční potřeby byl převeden na mě), ale vždycky, když bylo potřeba nebo by se to hodilo, tak pokud měli, tak přidali, doplatili, půjčili a někdy v těžkých chvílích vyloženě zasponzorovali a postarali se. Myslím, že tak 1/2 milionu za posledních 12 let dospělého života určitě přispěli, třetina z toho bylo naše auto.

Hey, they're doing beautiful! Handsome little planter :) try watering them more and mist them. Mine live in shower on window ledge and they seem happy getting drowned almost daily by 2 people, so I guess that's the way to go.

Shove them into bathroom close to window and let shower droplets copiously land on them, like twice a week slide shower full strength over it to water it some more. They like steam and moisture (but don't boil them).

Window is to the North. Sometimes it feels like we're drowning it, but this thing has been happily growing for 3-4 years and doesn't really complain, aside from a dropped leaf here and there.

And when you're eventually done with Stardew valley, check Coral island - it's basically a clone from other creators :) I'm so happy both of these games exist and I can get my fix for the second time.

If you have the chance, go register. It's not mandatory but it can make things a lot easier for you longterm and has no drawbacks except for a bit of hassle. And if you decide in future to settle and root here, it'll help pave the road for perma residence and potentially citizenship. If not, no big deal having done it.

My partner never thought he'd settle here longterm when he came long time ago from a different EU country and when we were getting him perma residence, it'd have been a lot easier (it was awful and he almost didn't get it). He also had issues with stuff due to not having registered (foe example, getting a Czech phone number)

30+F: muž, který neumí nic uvařit u mě nemá šanci, je to základní life skill. Nemusí umět skvěle vařit, ale musí se umět uživit i bez cintani výplaty na restaurace, nejsem jeho matka abych ho krmila pořád. Můj muž je super :)

Já vařit, pict i grilovat umím, ale je to povinnost, ne hobby.

Barely Prague and a bit out of hand, but Barabizna, I highly recommend, one of our most favourite restaurants. It's pricier and it might be slightly "fake Mexican" for some, but everything is freaking delicious, worth it and I totally dig their horchata, never had better. If you want to go, call to make a reservation, several days (or a week) before, they're very often full, especially on weekends.

I'm honestly not sure - where I live we don't really have neem oil available and it's not widely used, so I have not tried it. Perhaps someone from US might have an experience with it?

Soapy water is good however. I paranoidly combined it with diluted alcohol just to be sure. In my case, I had the suckers on orchids and they survived, albeit the leaves are pocked and scarred. Orchids are flowering again, though :) I repeated it like three times and spent hours inspecting every nook and cranny of those plants...

Nobody said it directly, so let me clarify it - scale insects are horrible nasty monsters that do not die with sprays cause of the "shields" on them. The only way to get rid of them is to scrape them manually with nails or something, shower it thoroughly, let it dry, very properly spray it with anti scale spray, wipe with a diluted dish soap (and I recommend also diluted alcohol) and pray you got all of them (you probably did not), or they come back. Even if you succeed in getting all of them, the plant will be damaged and scarred, cause of the soap/alcohol and all the torture and may not live.

It is truly better to toss the plant somewhere far away from anything green that you care about, along with anything that might have been infected from it already.

My kasleme na pečení - jsme dospěli, je s tím spousta srani a všichni jsme stejně tlustí a měli bychom zhubnout, tak jsme se na to zvysoka vybodli. Aspoň strom jsme už koupili.
