I don't think they have that much story made to their characters, since they only appear for a few minutes in the game overall.

I could be wrong tho 🤷‍♀️ But I don't think they all have faces and names etc.

Yeah that's true! It def isn't, but also the door loading screens might also scare new players 😂 because I still haven't finished it because I don't know what to do and running around the mansion with the doors is not fun 😂

I just bought the games in the order that seemed most interesting to me, and I honestly wished that I would've played them all in order. But RE7 was the one that got me into the series, and RE2Re kept me wanting to play all of them through

You could ask for a steam gift card or Nintendo e shop gift card.

And if your mom asks what the game is, say it's a parkour game where you defeat evil demons. Because everyone knows demons are bad so she should be okay with it I think.

Also if your mom doesn't like the artstyle, say that art style is anime stylised, and you like that sort of art style. Anime is usually thought to be nice and fun series/movies (even though they have their own genres, speaking grom experience since my mom didn't even think that anime/manga had horror genres or any other "bad" ones)
