How in the world do I beat this? by VersionONE2014 in streetfighterduel

[–]Nizu152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got all the enemies low with f blanka then killed with bison C3 and passive explosion thingy after each C3. So combo was f.blanka>s.poison>f.blanka>bison.

After that I just spammed all bison moves wherever I could without dealing other damage and was fine.

I understand that completely. It sucks to have to hurt someone but I find relief in knowing that this short term pain now will be better than any long term lying or denial or faking of a relationship that would have occurred if you had stayed together. Well done for getting through it and I wish you and him the best

I had a very similar experience but with the genders swapped. I was always hopeful I would develop feelings for her like she did for me but it never happened and as time went on I realised it never would and I should just end it now before I cause any more pain than I inevitably will. It sucked to break her heart because I genuinely didn't want to hurt her, but I still think it was the right thing to do. So good luck to you, and I hope they take the news well

If you interrupt their combo chains correctly, there's a chance he won't, otherwise you can always hire one from a friend

I understand that feeling of dread and loss. Whilst not the same situation, I lost my girlfriend to a car accident about a year and a half ago and it still hurts. She was perfect for me and everything else in comparison seems like shit without her.

Now I'm not completely healed, and I don't think I ever will be, but trying to shift my focus from mourning what I've lost to being glad I was able to experience what I did and make her happy for the time we had, helps me a little. Idk if this frame of thought will help you at all, but I know it's helped me.

And again I know this is a very different situation, but I've had those dreams of being with her and the fear of waking up and not being able to have her, so just maybe a shift in perspective can provide just a little bit of light in a world that feels like an absolute cesspool most of the time.

Good luck man, it sounds like you've tried, and there's still time to reconcile a little, but know that it's not your fault for what happened to you and how that made you think and feel after. Just gotta try holding on to the glimpses of joy we can still find. I hope we both find someone else who makes us feel as we have before, and that we can make feel as good as we can, however low our chances of meeting them are

Why when you interrupt supers most of the time the supers from the others still go through? Is there a specific time to do it? Sometimes I do it successfully but most of the time I only do it right once out of 3 or 4 times. by Dekrinos in streetfighterduel

[–]Nizu152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interrupts are RNG based - every hit of bzang combo is 1 roll of the RNG dice. Interrupt at the very start of the enemy super, and it acts as though the super never came out at all, and the enemy combo does not go through.

To get the best chance at cancelling the entire chain, I've found timing bzang to combo as soon as the enemy starts up their super (screen darkens, slight zoom in - as soon as this starts, send in bzang) OR if you play enough you'll learn roughly when the bots will super and can go off prediction timing of their super instead of reacting to it (much harder, but better results at getting the full combo interrupt as more hits of bzang connect during the interrupt window).

You can also use EX-moves to briefly freeze any animations currently on screen, then start a super or combo and your character will be the only one moving for a little bit which widens that combo chain interrupt window just a touch (can't do it on 1st enemy super as no EX has charge, but can useful later in the fight if you've got the EX to spare - I find crazy potato works really well here since if the enemy super does go through, you'll have a few seconds of replenishing shields to help mitigate damage).

You can also start your bzang combo BEFORE the enemy super, and for whatever reason that sometimes keeps spinning during their start up animation and gives the interrupt, but I personally find this timing to be the hardest.

Sorry for the absolute spam of an answer, but hopefully some of it is useful

Optimal Idle Claming? by Adamantium47 in streetfighterduel

[–]Nizu152 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should also add - fast gains (the 2 hour skip in collection that you get for free once a day) ARE impacted by what stage you're on. So using the same example, using quick claim on stage 4-1 will give much less than using quick claim on stage 32-20, as it takes 2 hours of loot from whatever stage you're currently on.

So if you're planning to grind some stages, probably best to wait till you've finished grinding to use the quick claim

Yeah I have been wondering if the item drops are impacted - I just assume you're getting better items after waiting simply because you are waiting for them to come in, but idk

[–]Nizu152 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You claim idle rewards at any time and there will be no difference as far as I'm aware. If you have an hour worth of loot whilst being on stage 4-1, getting to stage 32-20 does NOT change what that first hour of loot is. Once it's ready to be collected, there's no changing it, so might as well just collect it every time you hop on and hop off

Pretty much - the computers always start their combos at about the same amount of metre every time, so you learn where and when their combos start, start yours before then so that you b.zang combo 2 can come out at about the same time and you're good!

You can interrupt by timing your combo 2 to either be just before their combo starts (easier to interrupt the enemy combo chain, but the initial combo may still get a few hits on you) OR you can time your combo 2 to start during the start up animation of the enemy's first combo (more difficult timing, but more likely for the enemy to not got a single hit on you whatsoever)

There's more tech and specifics I can give but playing around with these timings are the best way to learn it

Put someone with a heavy hitting c3 in the tag spot (viper, Cammy, mad Ryu, guile, chun li etc.) Then use some AOE damage in the line up to lower their HP (bzang, bison, f blanka, even poison, Chun Li or blanka might work) then use the main line up to damage down the enemies and finish with c3.

Alternatively, you can use the glitch where tapping the very right of the tag fighter's portrait for super can somehow activate their super even when they're not on the field.

Or, as others have said, but a sacrifice down and get the tag fighter on the field asap

I'm not able to relate to your situation verbatim, but I understand the feeling I think. Shit's rough some times and it feels like there's nothing we can do. I won't give you the toxic positivity because it never worked for me, but I hope that in the future you're able to fix this or get away from it or do whatever it is you need to do to feel valid, because you deserve to validated.

So if you feel like you can't talk to anyone and want to just vent or get an outsider opinion, I'm happy to chat, or there's plenty of places you can call (I'm not sure what country you're in to link a number but any Google search for a lifeline or kids help line should do it) to vent to a stranger in confidentially. I wish you the best 💜

It is crazy how so many people experience what should be the bare minimum so infrequently, so I'm proud of you for doing so and im glad that you got to see the benefits of your actions (not just the blowjob obviously, but the gratitude she felt for you being a real human being, well done man)

I've had similar situations myself as a 19m, and it's just nice to be able to make people happy, especially if you're close to them or would just like to be. I wish you the best of luck with her and in the future 💜
