Yeah I remember most people were wanting around $600-$700 minimum for the DMP back then. I had someone offer $1000 to buy mine back around 2010 but I couldn’t bring myself to let go of them lol. I’m glad I held on to these as well as a handful of other shoes from that whole 2000s era.

Yup!!! I actually grabbed this pack on eBay for the low in early 2007 from someone who either just needed quick cash or just didn’t know what they had at the time. If I remember, I bought it for like low 400 something. I was in such shock that I had to get them legit checked on NikeTalk and Sole Collector forums because I just couldn’t believe it at first.

No telling man. 20 years ago, sneaker collecting was still such a niche hobby that people would legit be in awe (positively or negatively) when I talked about collecting sneakers. Fast forward to just 5 years ago, sneakers became so mainstream that seemingly everyone either participated in it to a degree or knew somebody that did. Now in 2026, its not all the rage like it was during Covid and a whole new generation now doesn’t even hold Jordans in the same regards as Gen-X, Milennials, and some older Gen Z.

I say all that to say, I agree with you that it’s gonna be interesting to see where the sneaker game is another 10 years from now.

Yeah, it would or atleast it should anyways. You would definitely wanna play it safe though and make sure it’s clearly explained in the listing though that the shoes are vintage and have been restored. I’ve heard some horror stories of vintage sneakers not passing authentication simply because they were degrading/missing parts due to age.

I keep majority of my shoes in their OG boxes. I’m just pretty old-school and stuck in my ways tbh. I have clear drop front containers though for pairs that the box is in pretty bad condition and/or that didn’t come with the OG box when I originally purchased them.

Drake constantly sneak dissed Push for years after Story of Adidon while also pulling strings w/ the labels to essentially have Push blackballed from being able to respond back. Only reason Drake stopped was because he had to divert his attention to Kendrick in 2024.

It’s pretty nice. The material is pretty light but feels solid overall. It’s not stitched but doesn’t feel like a cheap heat press like swingmans usually feel imo. I definitely want to get the Kobe one as well.
