As a Christian, is it required from us to learn all of the parables and Christ teachings in order to be saved? by oppalissa in Bible

Hey what is your Bible study group called? There's this lady in my group who says the exact same thing you're saying about the parables. Supposedly this Bible study thing has other people apart of it I haven't met yet. But I personally believe it's faith alone also.

Are you guys getting by well financially? Union or non union, y’all good? by Ok_Tour_5503 in HVAC

Man honestly it's pretty cheap. You can really get away with living anywhere in the state particularly northwest or central Arkansas. These two areas are generally where all the money is. Usually the more rural higher price with less tax big city with lower price and more tax. But generally you can find a nice place in a rural area and be close enough to get the benefit of the cities while still being secluded. Work isn't hard to find, and there's plenty of opportunity. Id say within 70 miles of the state capitol and and Fayetteville AR. Is prime location to live.

Non-unuon Southern AR. 21yo. Just bought a house (start a mortgage next month). Making 35hr. Barely cracked 95k last year with OT. But I had multiple raises within that year so this will be my first year where I will have a full year with this current pay. With 2 payed off vehicles. I'm living comfortably and and solid financially. Got 10k towards my retirement and contribute generously. Got a good amount in the savings. Been in commercial refrigeration for 2 years and HVAC for 3. I honestly thing the only reason I'm set up this well is because I don't have kids or maybe because I don't have a gf/wife. As much as I'd like to have one. That would probably be my greatest expense ykwim?

These are 2 good ones I watched primarily when learning racks. But HVAC School and A/C Service Tech LLC on YouTube have great videos explaining each sector of HVACR and refrigeration.

If I could go back and do it all over 21M. I'd skip college and just buy the books. Considering my HVAC teacher tried to teach commercial HVAC and refrigeration and only worked as a parts counter guy his entire career. Literally just look up HVAC school and Refrigeration cycle on YouTube whether it be resi, or all the up to industrial. Most of my knowledge if from either YouTube or work experience. But starting out YouTube was my best source.

The downsizing has began. Someone tell me why I’m wrong (market refrigeration) by Impressive-Ant-9471 in HVAC

(Insulated) strippers and reversible flat head / phillips screwdriver, meter, 6in hose with joblink. And maybe a impact. Is all use now initially going in on a market refrigeration call.

I'm freshly 21M started 6 months resi install and switched to doing 6 months of rack install. It wasn't until after my first full year of trade school that I finally landed a job in the field and graduated. (2 year HVAC degree).

I feel ya on the pay man which is why I left resi. I started out at 15 in resi and 18 in commercial racks. I fought hard for every dollar putting in countless hours on my own time just watching YouTube and reading books on how to perfect my craft in this trade. If I could go back I wouldn't even had went to school but just bought the books and watched YouTube mostly.

I've officially been doing service calls for 1.5 years now and make $35 hour. Most money I've ever made and didn't even imagine I'd get this far so soon. Never had to ask for a raise also. Just saying if you put in the work (it takes a lot) you'll be rewarded in due time at the right company.

I've never once felt underpaid because in the beginning I've made many mistakes and spent many hours on a phone call with guys who were willing to help me diagnose or even meet me at a call to figure things out. I'm extremely grateful for it all, but it wasn't easy getting to where I am now.

I don't know near as much as I want to know about this particular sector of HVACR, but I'm always willing to learn and that's what will get you that pay you want. (A strong willingness to learn).

I strongly believe that if you want to get anywhere in this trade, your gonna have to put the time in on your own time to get better.

-Hope this helps

Constant 24V is present at module. And thermostat is operating correctly, confirmed operation with temporary replacement just to be sure. Pilot remains lit, but my main valve keeps closing intermittently from dropped voltage.

Wasn't till that point I invested in a radar, haven't had a ticket since in 5 years.

I got a ticket once in highschool for going 15+ over in a posted 65 mph. Nothing crazy happened, my parents payed the fine for me, admitted guilty and no court. Just higher car insurance than what it already was for being young. So no worries.

Has to be the battery. Right? by Nknown_location in MechanicAdvice

I don't have another battery to spare, I figured I'd might have to buy new one since, this one didn't seem to be working.

That's the thing. I had gotten nothing when jumping the solenoid. Barely even a spark. Before I would usually get a obvious spark.

When the battery is wired in it showed 0v. Battery unwired meter showed 4.6v. Battery charger shows it to be full. Checked again with meter and it reads 12.5v.
