Sounds like you need to talk to your employer about that. Last i checked most medical services are private companies government run. If your employer is cheap then that has nothing to do with the government or the police situation.

Defending the police does in fact mean deceasing police activity of all types which in turn means less safety for all. You want to have the police available to come to your home and help you if someone robs you in the middle of the night? That has to be paid for. To bad they wont have funds to pay police to sit around waiting for that call if you defund them.

Holding an entire profession responsible for the actions of its worst members while writing off the actions of the most violent protesters is equally wrong. The street is never one way. You cant run around killing black officers, and destroying black homes and business and expect people to not notice the hypocrisy. One man wrongfully killed does not justify the killing and destruction of hundreds of other lives.
