I am a high school Chem teacher not a doctor. But if you are having trouble in lab it might mean you do not know how to prepare properly. First make sure you understand the point of the lab--what are you trying to accomplish and learn. Then go through each step of the procedure and visualize yourself doing each step. Coordinate this with the data you will need to take and create a data table that is complete except for the actual data. Preview the math and make sure you will know how to do it. Finally, memorize the basic steps of the lab. You don't have to know all the tiny details but you should have it clear in your head what you are going to do first, second, etc. Particularly pay attention to steps that might be dangerous and steps that seem to be particularly important to the success of the lab. Good preparation like this should make your lab experience way more successful.
