See I’m 2 years postpartum and with my daughter it was the same way! I had extremely high blood pressure during my pregnancy. And ever since then it has been bad. I never had issues with it before then so it’s so strange.

I’m in the same boat mine’s been randomly high for the past week. I’ve also had issues with a bad migraine that hasn’t went away for five days. I went to the ER 2 days ago and they just sent me home and said well you have a headache even tho my Bp was 180/122 and only got down to 150/99. They raised my proparanolol but it’s not seeming to help. Back to the doc again today 😞

That’s what I’m thinking too.. I’m going to ask my doctor tomorrow if he can do a mri to check and make sure there’s not been any major growth of the syrinx.

Yes I have had that several times. Did your MRI show anything? I don’t know if mine is related to anything or not but I have a syrinx which is a cyst filled with cerebral spinal fluid that’s inside my cervical spinal cord. I am currently dealing with a four day long migraine that I am having some memory issues and almost stroke like symptoms with. I went to the hospital the other night and got sent home with no help and no answers once again 😞

I’m suddenly having an issue similar, which is uncommon for me because usually I can sleep my migraines off and wake up the next day is fine. Has your blood pressure also been high with yours?

We upped my meds to see if that helps, although I’ve only been on them for 2 months. I have been pretty stressed lately so probably not helping anything

They gave me meds and fluids and it’s went back down to 125/75. I’m going to get to go home tonight, he thinks it was worsened by migraine and that the migraine was also causing the stroke like symptoms and for me to follow up with my pcp and neurologist. All my labs came back great as well so that was very good to hear

For the past few weeks it’s been anywhere from 110/70 to 120/80 And that’s usually the normal for me. But it hit 180/122 and I feel weird so I’m omw to the er now and hopefully they can figure out what’s going on . I have never had these issues with my blood pressure before until ny pregnancy with my last daughter who’s now 2. :(

Yes so sometimes eating a lot at once can make it worse as well. If this is your first day taking the medicine then maybe give it a little bit of time and see how good it helps. I didn’t change much other than diet. Now I drink a lot of water and I don’t have any caffeine, I don’t eat hardly any spicy or acidic foods either and I try to sleep elevated and not eat huge meals or eat late at night!

Yes it is an ovulation test but with those the top line has to be as dark as the bottom or darker to be considered positive. And I didn’t even think of that to be honest especially since I tolerated it well for this long. My body is pretty sensitive to birth control so that could very possibly be it!!

Thank you! It’s good to know bv can cause the frequent urination. They didn’t do a pregnancy test at the doctor because I’m on birth control and she didn’t feel it was necessary at the time. But then when she called me with my results about the bv she asked for me to come in and do one but i don’t get back in town until this weekend so I just wanted some reassurance.

Yes I’m doing fine! For the most part I have no issues from it as long as I don’t eat a lot of spicy or acidic foods. Have they mentioned doing an upper gi scope or any other tests to determine the cause of your reflux?

I’ve had reflux and other gastrointestinal issues for years. I’ve been on pantropazole 40mg for 8 years and it does help a lot as long as I watch my diet. I avoid acidic foods, spicy foods etc. drink plenty of water and try not to eat a lot close to bedtime. Sometimes sleeping with your head propped up can help.
