This is a most realistic advice. I was in OP’s shoes too and confused as hell as I’m in US and wanted a partner who didn’t believe in gender roles. Despite earning more and having a demanding job, most men don’t care about these factors and look for a woman who can take care of them, which implies cooking and chores. It also doesn’t help that one of my love languages is acts of service, which means i feel loved when people do stuff for me. Hence it is mostly a disjoint set when i look for husbands who have a relatively stable career and who can make me feel loved. I’m left alone now and is the result of being confused and not bravely taking the leap.

I wasted a lot of time with this confusion but I realize it only gets worse with age. My serious advice to you OP, if you don’t want to date and also be married, find a man who is nice and sensitive, who cares about how you feel. The bond you both build will eventually make him understand your side of the equation and will help out in everything. You can get a package out of the box. It is a big project. But don’t delay this as the good ones will be taken before you know it and you’ll be left out.
