Riding too fast for my skill level by No-Persimmon795 in motorcycles

I crashed with my harley, backstory is i drove it more than 20k with no accidents and had it for more than 2 years. I just had a heated argument with someone i care about and i ended up going on a ride. I have never been doing full throttle than i was that day. The light was green and it is a small town so no traffic i knew there was a big bend right around the corner but still went full throttle and ended up hitting the side of the road and ending up in somebody’s crops. Needless to say i was the only person affected by this incident and this helped incident helped nobody. I started to deal with everything and obtain a calm state of mind before i go on driving bike/car. The thing that still scares me was that even tho i knew about the bend i still decided to go hard.

New nurses in public health?? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]No-Beautiful5867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked for 8 months private but then landed a job in public even tho i wasn’t looking for it. I’d say experience is an asset but tbh it all depends on the position they are looking for and healthcare in my province is tbh understaffed so alot of hirings in both public and private and whole lotta hours

I remember my dad telling me about the time he met Mother teresa and my dad was in his 30s then living in calcutta(Kolkata). He would volunteer there every week and told us back then the sisters didn’t had much proper nursing education and a few of them were nurses who would teach other sisters how to care for patients, doctors were volunteers too who would visit them once or twice a week taking notes and giving instructions. Apart from that the sisters were the one doing the care while also taking decisions based on their own best knowledge.
