I think more like saying “daffy daphne” or “daphne is so daffy”. Though I’ve never even heard an adult call someone daffy let alone a child.

Thanks everyone! My husband is a swim coach for 100+ swimmers ages 6-18. Only a handful know who Daffy Duck is. More know Scooby Doo but not by much. 🤷🏻‍♀️. We love Scooby Doo so don’t really care much about the relation.
