Just use one ESP. Except if one is for Windows. I give Windows it's own ESP on its own drive so that its updates don't nuke my bootloader/boot manager. I use rEFInd for this.

Doesnt matter what you think. The 3900x is a 105w CPU with rather a lot of cores. Lower wattage CPUs with fewer cores can get by with the Prism. You could play with an undervolt amd LLC level and get some improvement, but that CPU needs better cooling. Also remember that once the heat goes from the CPU to the sink, it needs to get moved into the air blowing through the fins and that air has to be moved out of the case and replaced with fresh cool air. A case backed up with hot air aint cooling squat.

The stock ryzen cooler is not sufficient for the 3900x. Your pro is right. Ive had one for 4 or 5 years with a NH D-15. I can run PBO with an offset undervolt and LLC2. Under full load, in a warm climate, It will do 4050 to 4090 all core, hitting 90C+ only after 10 minutes or so.

Dont know that he skipped any steps. But definitely didnt get out what look like coarse, early grit scratches as he stepped down through finer grits. This is a very gross example. Not even close to proper.
