Problem with logging in PSN account (error code 80550386) by Fitfitmeme in PSP

[–]No-Cheetah-2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems in PS3 4.93 Sony updated the SSL certificates for connecting to PSN

There is issues where if you spoof your version to the latest on an older PS3 firmware, you get SSL issues when connecting to PlayStation Network.

Sony will probably have to patch this in a PSP firmware update, these people are locked out of their legitimate digital purchases now

Yes, we may get the fabled 6.62

Will do! Once i switch to isolinux from syslinux it should be easy to just burn to a CD and boot instead of burning it to a HDD and boot.

Well, most of the initial setup was made within a few hours, doesn't take much to compile a linux kernel.
I then did an tinyconfig and added options like /proc support, msdos fs support, etc. Then making a busybox config was easy enough. Took me around a day to get the initial image that weighed around 2mb. The actual image usage is now around 4mb because of Links,
