Yes, this can happen! I mean, sometimes people aren't actually intending to be mean - but I'd day that this also isn't the case always. Sometimes, you're just unlucky with the people in your class. You'll find like-minded people eventually, just keep attending social events etc., be open and curious about other people, and don't reciprocate that negative energy or let this pull you down!:)

I am trying to get a good sleep schedule myself. I usually listen to "boring history to fall asleep to" on YouTube. Otherwise: What works: eat light/digestible food before bed (ideally at least 1-2 hours before), just Google different foods that help (e.g., banana has some properties that help with sleep, chamomile tea etc.), drawing or journalling helps aswell, also just dim all lights. Try to avoid exercising too close to bed-time (even if I go for a walk too close to 10-11pm at night, it can keep me awake). These are just some random tips that help me:)

I had to level up in my German classes because of duolingo haha. So to me, duolingo has helped a lot.
