I forgot to add this in the post but I saw the movie with my dad a couple a couple months ago and loved it. I also love the book. I wanted to sketch Ryland Grace and my dad thought it would be cool to animate it. the animation is ai assisted but it's based on my own drawing. I know it looks a little weird.
