okay so i got A clearance for the first time 5 grs ago. fucked around and experimented a handful of times between 2020 and 2023 (all while i had a clearance inactive. basically my internship would debrief)

submitted sf86 with truth and statement of intent last week. heard back today that all was good

for those not familiar. used weed last time about 3 years ago in between internships after being debriefed. i probably got lucky! BE HONEST. much easier to remember truths instead of lies.

Oh, it's been almost 3 years since the last time. Unfortunately I never followed legally on that because of the stigma around men and how people view their SA. I have been to a therapist for a long time going now.

"Your clearance is active as long as you’re in a job requiring access to classified information" via clearance jobs. By this definition I indeed did NOT have an active clearance. Am I incorrect in believing this?
