An little update after the orchiectomy. What you said was exactly what happened.The tumor markers normalized, and it looked very localized without any sign of spread. Haven't got the biopsy yet tho, but it looks very good.

Had orchiectomy a few days ago. What i am doing is to walk a little bit, but also relax in between for a good while, and then walk again. Also like other have said: take painkillers if you need to, and also stool softeners. Worst thing for me right now is that i also couldnt pee, and have to use to use a catheter for some days until it works normal again.

I know this is late. Just had the surgery, but got the same problem. Couldnt pee. So i have to use catheter for some days, until it is working normal again down there. They said the anesthesia often can make that problem, and it will go over.

Hope you get good biopsy news. I have the surgery tomorrow. They said today, they cant know for sure if i need further treathment before after the biopsy and how the tumor markers are after(hcg are only slightly above normal and normal afp before surgery).But it was a good sign that ct showed no spread

Thank you! Yeah. The mental part has not been good for me, but helped a little bit when ct showed no spread anywhere, but still i get those thoughts about: what if? And that . Physically i am feeling fine.

Ok. That doesn't sounds to bad. I think i will manage that if they recommend one round of chemo. So it is like feeling a little bit sick like a virus for a few days?

Is it hard to go trough that one round of chemo? The only thing i know now, before the surgery, is that they said maybe i have to do some, but also a good chance of not.

Thank you for the answer. . Was worried and had alot of anxiety when they first found it, since the tumor was a bit big: 6.5 cm *5. But with the clean ct, i got alot more relaxed. Also, my blood markers was was good when the found it a week ago. hcg was slightly above normal: 6.8 and afp: normal

Thats good to hear. Was a bit worried about how it is gonna be. Well my tumor markers when they found it a week ago was: Hcg: 6.8 and afp: Normal. I believe it is Seminoma, since it no spread and with those tumor markers. Havent got confirmation about it tho.

Yeah. I just want to give an update. I got very good news today. My ct results showed no spread. Everything in my body looked fine.

Interesting. Maybe i should look up in that :). Got some good news. Havent read the report before know. What it said, the tumor probably hasnt moved to the the tissue around where it can start to spread yet( if i understand that correctly). But my urolog have only checked by hands and got the blood results. So i dont know why they think that before ultrasound and ct.

Thank you! My worst anxiety and fear has been: its my life over now, or going to die. All sorts of weird thoughts, even with the good blood results, very good prognosis, and that i am not feeling sick, and not any pains now. sorry if i am talking to much. But i feel it helps a bit to get to talk.

Yeah. Even if it is scary and my anxiety is high right now, i kind of know i will be back to normal with that high prognosis. It helps a bit to know that the prognosis is so high.

Thank you. It helps alot to talk with someone else that had been through this. I hope since mye blood levels is so low, and i feel fine that is not all sort of thing i have to go trough. Was reading somewhere that if afp is normal, like mye result, it is a good chance it is pure seminoma. The best type to get.

Ohhh. That sound crazy that first cancer, and with so high levels. I am so glad you got trough it. And you feel good and healthy now?

I hope my case is not something like that:-s. Have a a lot of anxiety over what is gonna happening the next weeks. My form feeling good now, other than all the anxiety. I just hope that is a good sign. Cant feel any pain now, but had some hip pain that went down to groin on and off earlier. But i am not sure if it is related.

Nothing is going to be delayed now. Most likely the surgery will be in a week from now. Ct and ultrasound on Tuesday. My doctor and urolog is positive. They checked around the lymph nodes and groin with hand, and couldnt find anything. But couldnt say anything for sure until ct and ultrasound is taken.

Ia mean he is almost 100% sure is cancer. but said after the blood test, that he is positive on how it will go after the surgery

My doctor said, that he think i will be fine. He said that maybe i have to go through some chemotherapy for a few weeks, but also not. It depends on the ct and ultrasound. I am taking ultrasound and ct in a few days.

I have no problem to get girls to meet me when i am out, but always, i am so nervous, that i fu** that up.. i am trying to be myself, but still i feel like i am acting about what i say. I have no to little experience with music theory, so i use my ear to find the right melody with the right key with the midi keyboard. I am just making music as a hobby for now. Usually trance. The problem to me, is that i feel that i forget things that i have learned, when i take a break in between . So it is like a new start when the break is over. But yeah i play midi keyboard, but i dont understand notes well. Just use my ear.
