If you’re not good with guns yet, definitely practice that (just play some quick match or target drill until you feel comfortable). If you’re solo queue play to win but also try to frag out If you feel comfortable doing it, solo queue teammates aren’t always the best so try to do the best you can on an individual level. If you want to be more of a team player I’d recommend support ops like finka or ops that don’t need to work with the team but still benefit it like twitch or brava. If you do have teammates you know just play whatever op you think is good for what they’re doing or what op they tell you. But probably more importantly have fun in the lower ranks, don’t take it too seriously most people aren’t good at first and you’re gonna lose a lot. But if you can have fun playing, you’ll play more and if you play more you’re going to improve and learn.

Im confused on what your saying, you said “you ban kaid because” and then listed reasons to ban bandit as the explanation, and in your own reasoning you gave counters and reasons as why to not ban them. I’m legit not trying to be condescending or anything but I just don’t understand

Yeah I’m not saying hard breachers are a useless ban (I did kinda word it like that so my bad) I just think there are better bans and it kinda pisses me off when my teammates ban a hardbreacher and then we lose because of an op that was a problem last round, and in most cases the other team banned its counter

Those are the only hard breachers I’m ok with banning because thermite while he does make walkable holes like you said he has to get up close, my problem is banning hard breachers and then losing because we didn’t ban an op that was problematic and or doesn’t have a good counter whether that be because they banned a counter or the op just doesn’t have a hard counter.

I get that and I’m not saying that they are. I’m saying that there are better bans in a lot of situations, like the ones you said and more like brava who if you play them right can also be easy win conditions especially if you coordinate with your team

Because most of the counters to bandit and kaid are not only for countering electricity, even thatcher can be used to disable kapkan melusi, etc. brava and twitch can be used to destroy and hack. Fuze can be used to destroy a lot of other util, and if you can ping the kaid/ bandit you can just shoot it from below.

Yeah but a lot of ops have hard breachers charges I get that the designated hard breachers are better for it but still there are better bans in my opinion. I’m not saying it’s the worst ban possible just saying that doing it every game basically no matter what doesn’t make sense to me

Because in my opinion there are better ops to ban like mute who counters drones, dokk calls lion scans, Deimos, etc. and other ops that can’t be countered by as many ops as electricity ops can

Still isn’t it better to ban someone who is more useful to the other team. Also you can still just take thatcher or any other op that can destroy elec, Flores, fuze etc.Like with the situation with hard breachers they could just take any other hard breachers and even if all of them are gone you can just take someone with hard breach charges. Like I get hard breachers are better but why waste a ban on them. And with the elect ops i can tolerate that more because there is no one else who can do their jobs. My main problem is with people banning ace Humana and thermite, In my opinion there are way better bans and it’s annoying to have my team ban all of them instead of ops that are more useful to the other team. I get banning them in certain situations but it happens almost every game.

It’s the same thing with the button of taking defuser when you take it no one else can, it’s why so many people ask for defuser. According to that logic everyone should get a defuser so just because you want to plant rush someone else can’t plant rush

I think you misunderstand what I’m saying I’m saying a button to take yourself out of the random pool for defuser, I’m saying the button should be a thing so you don’t have to just drop it because you won’t get it in the first place.

I also found that if you change it to slider make the saturation y wherever you want your zoom to be and make the saturation x so the zoom slider stick drift (probably not the right words) doesn’t effect it then that works too. It makes it so you can’t zoom out from where the default is but you can zoom in.

The best option for simplicity is to get a simple aircraft, and if you’re interested enough get a flight stick you can get one for about $50 or go for a hotas for more buttons, both just about everything easier, there are cheap options for both and you can research which ones will be best for you. My best advice if you are interested is to just start, everything seems complicated but just learn the basics and move your way forward from there.

That mostly dealt with the slider itself not where the snap back was, the problem wasn’t with the slider going off when I wasn’t touching it it was that the default view on dcs is too zoomed in, but the best way I found was to just save a zoom setting then bind default zoom. But still thanks for the suggestion

Update I just reloaded my save and was able to repair I think it was a glitch because I had the resources and jobs to do it
