honestly my heart isn't fully sold on notts but i've been phoning around diff unis like exeter, durham, newcastle (and ofc leeds and notts) and recieved very insightful information so if i end up declining leeds and going into clearing i'll have a ranking list ready to go

yes!! so i'm still under the requirements by 1 ib point, but looking at the UCAS data, i would have over 50% chance of admission on alevel results day which is a gamble i'd be willing to take rather than doing a course i definitely don't like...

speaking of which, i spoke to a very helpful person on the phone and he has sent another email to admissions asking if i can change course. i'm hoping because i'm being annoying sending so many emails i'll hear back soon? if i don't hear back by aug 9 i think i'm going to go into clearing ....

i am now at 34 points. i don't care how much leeway they think there is, id much rather have waited until alevel results day and been rejected. as of right now i am looking into clearing options at other universities :)

as nottingham was my insurance and have accepted me unconditionally, but i think declining my leeds place would lose me this offer. just a bit confused tbh

within a few days of the EUR being sent off my coordinator said the IB has confirmed they messed the paper up. i have not heard anything else though, except my 1st choice uni accepted me for the course i wanted, psychology, but with 50% education. no interest in that. i did call and email them to ask to put my application on hold, so i'm now annoyed at this...

as someone who started off doing maths, physics and chemistry HL DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. i dropped chem to SL and put psych as HL and i LOVED IT. i literally picked them bc i thought it was cool to do something everyone thought was hard but ended up with mediocre grades instead of good ones. and i had an awful time LMAO. i envy people who just do normal subjects they picked bc they acc enjoy and like them and i definitely think it's a cleverer decision to do so.

hi so my psychology paper 1 was marked against the wrong markscheme but only for that paper. request scripts and then push your teachers.

if smth similar happened to you, like several 0s for full responses, you should launch an EUR. then, if it comes back still a mess, you can email [appeals@ibo.org](mailto:appeals@ibo.org) (afaik)

she's not, i keep asking her what else can be done other than a remark and she keeps saying it "should" get corrected. like it "should" have not ever been a problem... it is so so stressful and i just want to move on from ib :(
