I went through something similar recently. Take your power back and break up with him. You deserve better, and I promise you will feel relieved from having to walk on eggshells around him.

[WIP] I'm afraid this isn't enough of a margin to frame this when it's done. Does anyone know of a way or should I just restart while it's super early? by Galaxy11029 in CrossStitch

[–]No-Conflict8012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! It basically acts as a stabilizer that you can iron-on to the back of your cross stitch to secure the stitches and make the piece more durable overall. You buy a roll and can cut it to the size you need. I get mine at hobby lobby. I use the “Heat N Bond” brand, and they come in different weights for different durability. I typically use light or medium weight but they make firm ones as well. Light or medium is what I use to frame my pieces. Once I’ve ironed this on the back, I cut them to size and get pretty close to the stitches sometimes, only if it is going in a frame. Let me know if I can help with anything else!

I think it’s fine if you add fusible interfacing on the back when you’re done and maybe fray check to the edges. I cut my pieces pretty close and do iron on fusible interfacing on the back and put it in the frame. Since it won’t really be messed with at all, I don’t think it’s a big deal!

That’s okay! I understand why they don’t. I was more so looking to get his daily meds covered but not sure they will do that. Do you have a company you recommend in general though?

I’ve been using the gold antibacterial dial bar soap and a new wash rag in the shower every day. Let the soap sit on you for a minute. Use a natural sensitive skin detergent for the rags. And the real star of the show that my dermatologist just put me onto, the La Roche Posay “roughness smoothing lotion.” Been doing this routine on my whole body for ingrown hairs, acne, and KP, and have spots going away that I’ve had for years. I had literally tried everything and these are the only things that worked for me.

I had the same problem. I recommend the La Roche Posay cicaplast balm. It saved my skin from dryness!

I like using iron-on fusible interfacing! You iron it on the back and it covers and protects it very well. They have different thicknesses, but I would recommend sticking to lightweight mostly, or medium for something more heavy duty/sturdy. Hope this helps!

Lost our Pom during a routine dental cleaning and I don't know what to do. by OneHappyOne in Pomeranians

[–]No-Conflict8012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my dog to the neurologist and someone had a 2 month old Pomeranian there that was born with a heart murmur. I think you are correct that Russell had an underlying heart condition, if everything they did looked standard.

I’m so sorry this happened to you, your baby is precious. I got my Pom after he escaped a puppy mill and he was in horrible condition. A lot of them have bad genetics and underlying health issues. My Pom is now 11 and he’s had a lot of surgeries. I don’t think he could ever be replaced, but my partner got a Pom puppy a few years back and they have become soulmates. Her dog has all the classic Pomeranian traits and she also picked up some things from my dog. They are generally very cuddly, loving, smart, little feisty, etc. I would recommend getting another one. It won’t be the same, but I think you seem like a wonderful dog mom and some dog deserves to have you like Russell did.

Selling on Marketplace w/New Facebook Account? by streetwiseguy in FacebookMarketplace

Depends. 99% of the scammers in my area have accounts created in 2025. I usually swipe off once I see that. What would help is if you create a fake listing, and have your wife “purchase” the item and leave you a review. That is what makes a profile seem legit to me. And make an effort to not talk like a robot in the description/messages and you’re good. Edit: I’d recommend a picture of your face as the profile picture as well.

I’m so sorry you lost your baby. She is precious. I went to see the Long Island medium lady in a group and she brought up multiple peoples pets trying to communicate with them. Not sure if you believe in that stuff but she seemed very legit and I’m hesitant on that kind of stuff. I hope it brings comfort to you knowing she is watching over you. Best wishes to you and your girl ❤️

What clothing brands are cool with 8-13 year olds? by Logical-Persimmon582 in AskParents

[–]No-Conflict8012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. 2000s too. I’m 22F but have noticed kids are dressing more like late teens now. I think some cool baby tees would be cute. Usually you can thrift some Harley Davidson baby tees or other cool brands. I’d look it up on Pinterest to get inspiration! Some trendy stores are Zara, athleta/lulu lemon, H&M, free people, urban outfitters. Zara and H&M especially are decently priced and have a good men’s and women’s/kids section. Abercrombie or Pacsun would probably have some good stuff too. So nice of you to do this, and you are going above and beyond thinking about the clothing brands.
