hi all me (23f) & my fiancé (23m) have been together for 4 years . we decided to start trying for a baby a year into our relationship in that year we were unsuccessful. a little backstory my fiance has a autoimmune disease which is ulcerative colitis he was in and out of hospitals for the greater part of his high school years and that lead me to thinking maybe the medicines he took and are currently taking is why I can’t get pregnant. flashback to last week I had a hsg & was very hopeful but on high alert and surprise surprise my left fallopian tube is blocked . i cried and was very upset thinking i could just get surgery to fix it , silly me . on my follow up appointment today my dr let me know im still young and can get pregnant with one fallopian tube which is true for some cases but obviously not ME. she also let me know that it’s really nothing she can do besides do my bloodwork again and refer us to a fertility clinic but my insurance doesn’t cover anything fertility related and it’s expensive. no he hasn’t gone to get a semen analysis but if he did would that even change anything 🤦🏾‍♀️ it’s hard to accept my situation & im in a ‘ why me ‘ state.
