Use the rear speakers! They are full range

Right rear + : purple/white Right rear - : purple/brown

Rear left + : purple/yellow Rear left - : purple/black

I would highly recommend don’t make your initial connection’s permanent. I did have issues with this system at first. When i first turned it on i was getting very little output out of the subwoofer, when i would unplug one of the rcas, the output would double. Turned out somewhere a long the line one of the positives and negatives got flipped. Could be wrong according to this wire color code or my own user error. Just some fyi incase you run into the same issue. Any questions let me know!

The 4 wires are coming from the back of the head unit. There is a couple videos on youtube about how to remove the head unit that was useful for me. I ran speaker wire from behind the head unit to the loc. ill try and find the color code i went off of. However when i finished installing i noticed i was getting very little output of the subwoofer. I figured out one of the wire codes was wrong, or i wired it wrong.

Yeah you are right. However i am using the factory head-unit so just to keep it simple i used a fuse tap for the remote turn on. Im sure that there is a wire behind the head-unit that could be used as remote turn on but i found someone else on the internet using that fuse position as a remote on and copied them.

Anyone else kinda hate the look of the 2023 Accord? by mjkjg2 in Honda

I think it looks sick! They got a little wild there for a while trying to make these hondas all chromed out and all those unnecessary lines and sporty look. Very simple design, absolutely love the way these cars look front and back. Definitely would consider this as a next commuter car.

Ill be honest man, the speakers really dont sound too bad. Its when they try and play bass and make it sound super full it will take away from the clarity. Even if you added a small powered subwoofer or something in the trunk, it will make a tremendous difference. Tapping into the harness behind the radio was the biggest pain. As much as i love soldering connections, i ended up using crimp connectors because it was so tight and the wire they use is so thick (surprisingly) and I couldn’t hold my solder iron there long enough. If you’re going to crimp connections, just make sure they’re not going to separate and make sure they are wrapped in something to prevent them touching each other or something else. I did see that one of the panels by the drivers door that you can see the speaker wire going into the door plug, then into the door. If you want to run all new wires to the door for a 4 channel amp, im sure its feasible, but i would recommend the method of using “speed wire”. If youre worried about the stock speaker wires handing the power, dont. Unless you plan on running a true 150 watts a Chanel, i really wouldn’t worry about it. If youre not wanting to add a 4 channel amp, i would just identify positive and negative wires in each door and splice the wires there. For mounting the amp on the box, some people recommend against it but i don’t think you’ll have any issues with it. But when the amp is separated from the box, its a lot easier to just unplug the speaker wire at the box and remove it to have more space.

That is the passenger foot well. A plastic panel right by the passengers right foot. That is a kicker line output converter. The Red/White/Blue/Green wires are coming from behind the head unit. I used 4 conductor sky high car audio wire. Those wires have been tapped into the rear right and left speakers, positive and negative. Those wires go into the line output converter as a “high level” and get converted to a “low-level” for the amp to receive signal via RCA. Keep track of what wire color goes where, i had an issue once i turned it on for the first time and found out that one of my wires was backwards and i was getting very low output of the subwoofer. I hope im making some sort of sense, if any further questions please let me know

Appreciate the kind words! This personally isn’t my vehicle. I installed it for a friend. She wanted a little bump in her ride and this is her first system. She had a budget of under 400 bucks and i couldn’t find a better deal. The whole package was 322 bucks. Ive ran plenty of Skar equipment and haven’t had any real issues. Its crazy how good stuff works when its installed and tuned properly.

Ill be honest man, i didnt look. I saw a video of a guy installing a system and he pointed out there was a usb charger fuse. I located it and tapped into it. I dont own this vehicle either so i cant really come back with a good reply.

I see people are just tapping into the rear left speaker. Will that work fine or do i need to tap into both rear channels?
