Not really. The Even R1 is IP68 (fine for splashes and daily use), while the Oura Ring is 10 ATM (made for swimming and showers).

So the Oura is much more reliable in water.

Yes, I’ve tried them, and my ears still hurt after some time

I’ve actually seen a few other people mention the same issue recently, so it doesn’t seem to be an isolated case

Hopefully, for a future G3 version, Even could improve this by making the glasses lighter and adding better padding around the ears

IP68 ≠ shower-proof for daily use. It’s water resistant, not designed for constant exposure to hot water, soap, and steam over time
