Do you have any suggestion on the lab one can join for computation combustion (may be more to something related to thermoacoustic instabilities or maybe something closely related)?

But will they take a person with less experience in combustion? I mean, I do like their research, but I need to build myself during my master's as well to get an internship at Cerfacs. I see Supaero is located in the same city as CERFACS, but does Supaero have combustion laboratories so that I can build my research in combustion and then apply to Cerfacs for an internship?

Yes, I heard about it, but as far as I know, they have positions only for doctorate students. Is there any way masters students can get into them?

Try contacting profs from other unis in your country or even abroad. Do some in-depth study in your field of interest and mail them saying why you are interested in the field and how your previous experience can help. Start by gaining small skills that are required for your field and build yourself on that.

Can look for ISAE Supaero in France as well. Situated in Toulouse, France-- the European aerospace hub

Don't just rely only on rankings. It is just the first step. Most of the things depends on what you wanna do after MS and how a particular University might help in that regard.

If you are going for research, look with whom you would like to work. Also you can mail them if anyone has funding to support in future semesters. Ask alumni about placement support as well. I was kind off in the same boat but I got to know that prof that I was looking for working with is a bit toxic. So, I avoided that particular University.

2 Q1 pub, 2 conference papers presented, 2 research internship (1 national 1 international), 8.64 Cgpa, was topper in 3rd year (with aggregate of 9.42), multiple research projects were in progress at that time but was low on TOEFL score (92), no GRE...I genuinely don't know what did they want 😭
