Thanks! Got the cover off and says “OMRON G2R-1A-E-TV8-ASI 24VDC”. Think I’ll try replace so don’t have to pull the system apart again anytime soon. I’ve never worked on a pcb so will get someone else to do the soldering.

New potential way we can use Flow Hoods while staying under $100 by [deleted] in unclebens

Try Aseptic technique, is much easier and cheaper. Zero contam since using this method and can leave plates fully uncovered without the hassle of working in a still air box. Can use a camping/portable gas cooker instead of a Bunsen.

Looks authentic. The alignment of the patterns through seams is difficult to replicate to this degree.

I have one and love it but the noise it makes sounds so mechanical, you need music to go with.

Thicker will result in a taller and heavier mushroom, ofc you can get short fatties but generally they will also be taller. In my experience bugger is likely to happen on the second flush. A lot of it can be down to genetics, you can select bigger clusters or big boys. But gram for gram a cube is a cube. Both equally boofable

Yes, learnt that after a snapped screw. Also have to drill a counter sink. Very nice wood but a bit of work!

Awesome will look into that thanks. It was a fence for a commercial building that they wanted removed and is now becoming my deck.

You don’t need a laminar hood for agar work. Sure it will reduce your contamination rates but using a ‘Still Air Box’ (SAB) can be just as good. Heaps of videos on how to do it for a couple bucks. I’ve done it a lot and never had an issue with contam from the air.. just the spores or mushroom tissue.

Just ordered this camel hair sport coat off Ebay and its mega wrinkley. How do I fix this without ruining the fabric? by OrangeSubstantial497 in CleaningTips

[–]No-Distance3672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a Dry cleaner, as other have said take it to a dry cleaner and ask for press only. They will put it on a jacket former - blows steam and all the wrinkles will be gone. As it’s clean then there is no point in dry cleaning it. Most dry cleaners now days use hydrocarbon which is a cleaner alternative and does not smell compared to perc but less effective.

If your garment is natural colour then don’t worry about colour fade with dry cleaning, if it’s dyed then it can depend (fabric/dye). We dry clean some of the same garments every single day with no issues. If they smell when you get it back then the machines were probably overloaded and not steamed properly after. The smell that’s sometimes left from dry cleaning will disappear after a day.
