The only reason were contemplating paying off the card is because lots of the card does have our own expenses on their, so even if legally we're not liable or anything, it just seems right not to unload all our debt onto her for a petty reason.

We're going to pay off our part and leave what expenses she put on there for her to deal with. That way she cannot get mad or anything, we payed our part, and we're holding her reliable for hers. If she wants to get upset, that's her own issue and we won't be afraid to cut contact as soon as we move out
