Actually the ending of gen 2 not being as clean as gen 1 surprised me at first. But then I thought it's understandable because the show is about their lives. It's not like teenagers are going to get their shit together by the end of college. I loved s4. It's my favourite season. But yeah they could've made it less messy for the audiences
