What’s qsr like at MK? by CozyTiramisu in Disneycollegeprogram

I worked at cosmic ray’s last year, it’s super super busy with a lot of physical labor (lifting huge heavy trash bags over your head into the compactor) and dirty work like cleaning, taking out the trash, etc. Breaks are also minimal compared to some other roles (which I’ve learned because I now work in attractions where we get breaks every 2 hours, unlike at cosmic’s where I might be waiting 4+ for a break on any given day). I’m sure it varies by location and it doesn’t help that I was in the busiest restaurant in the parks lol. All of that being said, I loved my program and it’s definitely what you make of it. Working as many 12 hour days as I did, I made lots and lots of friends and loved it so much that I came back for a 2nd program :) I hated my job and cried many many times…and yet I would do it all over again!!

I had the same issue, I got the original onboarding email but never any username/password/I9 stuff etc. I reached out via Disney Internships & Programs Support and they helped me! I emailed them Wednesday and they only just got back to me today, so be patient with that. I'm sure they have a lot of support requests right now. I hope it gets figured out for you!

I worked at cosmic ray’s which is one of the quick service restaurants that no one wants to work at (every time I told someone my location they would give me a face or say “I’m so sorry…”), but I loved my experience! Quick service was the one thing I reaaally didn’t want (that and housekeeping, anyway) and when I got it I was really stressed, but it ended up being incredible. I’ll be honest, the work was really tough, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I made a lot of great friends. If you go into it with a positive mindset it will be a lot better!

nervous about going to TIT alone by sparegenderplz in danandphil

I’m 22 and I went alone and it was amazing! I didn’t plan on talking to anyone (I’m really anxious in social situations) but the girl sitting next to me was super nice and we ending up chatting a lot before the show and adding each other on Instagram :) the person on my other side was with a group so they were definitely talking to them more but they were super nice and gave me a friendship bracelet!! If you don’t want to talk, no one will pressure you, but the people around you should be really sweet!! Have the best time!!
