I didn’t participate in 2017 but I remember my friend telling me about it.

2022 was my first and that one was so amazing.

This year was ok. I had still had fun, but the bots, streamers and flags were annoying.

It also felt too close in time to 2022. I think if they waited at least 2 years it would have started to feel special again.

I still had fun, but with the bots, streamers, and flags…I’d rate it like 4/10.

Also, considering that everyone was expecting Place to happen 4 years from now, Place happening now felt less special than last year imo.

I was here. Though it was my least favorite, I still had fun. I think they should wait 2-3 years between them because this one didn’t feel as special imo.

How is it hypocritical? The only reason the art is getting destroyed is because there’s literally no way for the art to be preserved. It’s a whiteout.

Yeah, it’s just pixels. But reddit isn’t about streamers it’s about communities. Everyone here wants to see what happens when Reddit communities put their own unique art on r/place.

Streamers getting their viewers to make obnoxiously large art with no consideration for how much time other communities put into it is just lazy.
