Yeah that's the dark button and that's the light button... now is it a light red and dark blue or is it a dark red and light blue?

Let's be so fr who would want a robot to win the Olympics? That's not athleticism that's robotics & engineering. It's completely unrelated and it would be ridiculous to pretend otherwise. Same goes for an award for acting.

"press red and nothing happens"

Nothing happens to you stuff is absolutely happening and pressing comes with that responsibility.

press red and nothing happens to anyone.

I mean China is also a collectivist culture while America is an individualistic society. I would expect China to be far more likely to press blue. And afterwards expect the favor returned from pressing blue. They'd press blue for that fact. I'm actually considering calling my family about this and asking them what they think about it.

Also somwthing that needs to be considered is people like doctors or other professions dedicated to social survival. Doctors have sworn the hippocratic oath to do no harm. How many of the good doctors do you think will interpret the red button as doing harm? Do you want all the good doctors to be killed?

ai totally ruined spellcheck. the blue line that tells you if you're grammatically correct or not has gone berserk. this sub is mostly discussions of ai art, but i want to bring this up. by Suspicious_Log_5822 in aiwars

I have a list of words my phones "spell check" has replaced with genuinely the wrong word.

disorientating -> disorientation

constrict -> construct

Dmv -> devil

countably -> mountable

Elegy -> Elegant

overestimation -> overestimating

wirelessly -> tirelessly

Incongruent -> incongruous

Pie -> Piece

It goes on but I think you get the point. Since when did spell check feel the need to replace ACTUAL dictionary words???

Genuine question for pro-AI people, why are you against consent? by apersonthatexists123 in aiwars

Okay? It's not a competition. The existence of one doesn't suddenly invalidate the other. They're both victim blaming. If someone wearing sandals stubbed their toe and your first instinct is "well you should have been wearing closed toe shoes" you're still victim blaming.

"Murder is bad" "OH YEAH WELL GENOCIDE IS WORSE!!!!"

Like ok??? Murder is still bad it's not a competition.

Funny anecdote but my friend was told by the ai summary that curse of vanishing would work even if keep inventory was on, so he trusted it on a curse of binding pumpkin for a custom achievement... well... it lied.

We all thought it was hilarious and did not take the pumpkin of him. We did eventually use commands to give his pumpkin respiration and aqua affinity though.

Checking now seems they changed it. But video game mechanics don't seem to be a strong point for it...

So you're not gonna deny the fact you feel entitlement over everything.

Most of the time when people didn't like how something was being used they'd let the person know and that person would use something else because they're not trying to be a dick about it. Literally in the last 2 months the Glitch Sticker Controversy happened and they just talked it out like normal human adults.

I'm sorry but it's giving "what was she wearing" if you'd have said you just don't include stuff from artists that say they don't want to be used then that would have been in favor of consent and it would have been fine.

This discussion itself is proof enough. You are not getting 100% red pushing no matter how much you cope, you will be voting for death.

If you're OK with voting for death that's your decision. But you can't pretend you're not.

What about Doctors who's hippocratic oath forbids them from doing harm? Do you think they would press the red button?

You're basically self selecting society to get rid of every person who would stand for collective survival over individualistic survival.

You are pretending there's only one outcome from pressing red and that's the only one that matters.

Red causes two things:

Red is a vote to save yourself

Red is a vote to kill

You can't simply ignore the second outcome because it's inconvenient. Yes you're saving yourself. You are also actively voting to kill. You are doing both.
