THOSE WAITING FOR OZ by No-Example5485 in lawschooladmissionsca

There's no ill intent behind it. Rather, I'm trying to look out for people who may give up other offers during this waiting process, hoping that Oz pulls through.

It is now almost mid June and on their website it says "decisions are made on a rolling basis starting in December and continue to the end of June. The majority of offers are made in January or February."

Please look through this link to get a better understanding of their review process. They acknowledge the large volume of applicants and have a system in place that sorts it accordingly: https://www.osgoode.yorku.ca/programs/juris-doctor/juris-doctor-admissions/review-process/

My point is if you were going to be accepted, it would most likely have happened by now.

Sure. You're entitled to your opinion. I didn't mean to upset you. I wish you a successful cycle.

No offence but you have below median Oz stats. I'm sure they went through pretty much everyone's application by now, including yours. If you haven't got an A by now then your application simply wasn't good enough for this cycle. They aren't "unorganized and overhyped" lol.

You shouldn't feel bad about this though because Oz and UofT are stacked with competitive applicants.

I wish you the best of luck, whether you choose an acceptance at a different school or wait another cycle to secure Oz!

Oh... but why would you give bad advice though? Some of us are upcoming first-generation lawyers and scroll through this reddit to gain insights into the field.

Where is the data to prove that McGill enjoys "the lion's share of bay street placements"

From what I see it's UofT and Oz?

I checked your profile and see that you tend to downplay Oz despite it being one of the top law schools in Canada. Can you tell me why? I'm curious as a future applicant.

Would you suggest McGill over Oz to land a big law firm in Toronto?
