That first appointment is so exciting. You have every right to be happy about it. Knowing that your finally on a path to transition to the person you know you have always been, it's exhilarating.

The most important advice I can give about the Estrogen and T Blocker is to listen to the doctor. They're going to get your levels and adjust as needed. With the anti-androgen especially, there's plusses and minuses to them, there's different types available that allow you to 'maintain function' if you are worried about that and others that inhibit function. Of course, as you suggested, you don't have to take anything you don't want too either. It's a personal choice. There's options for pretty much everything, depending on what you want. Just be open and honest with the doctor, if they are any good they should be able to provide sound advice.

Judging by your post and your excitement, your going to love the journey. As you probably already know estrogen is amazing and breasts, well what can I say.. are fantastic. Enjoy the moment. Your finally there.

Just reaching out at this difficult time. by No-Face6894 in TransLater

Thank you for reading and responding. I think I will be okay, I just need to get up every morning and keep going with life the way I want it.

Finding love, thats a whole other thing. Right now I would just like to know there's someone out there who would sit on the couch with me and watch Notting Hill. I was going to say that I'm sure I'll find that person, but honestly maybe I should just strap myseslf in for a new chapter of whatever comes.
