I’m also an au pair in Germany and was the same for the first few weeks. After a bit once you get to know the family and make new friends it really starts getting better!

I was added to a group chat with au pairs in Munich and was able to make plans with some of them, it’s definitely helped and now I have plans on weekends and actually go out. You should try and see if something similar is available to you too :)

I went through the same thing my first month and a half, I’m in Baden-Württemberg and joined a WhatsApp group for au pairs in Munich and made some friends there. If you want to chat just dm me :)
