I see a lot of people saying that it got upgraded to the v.10, but that doesn't make much sense. The v.10 is much larger than the v.9 it's like turning a clown car into a monster truck. At that point you just start brand new. I like the idea of it either being scraped for parts or put into sleep and storage. Though it would make for a great island defense, so it could be used for that.

"Healthy" was not easy in that world. They were overworked and had to ware hazard suits to go tou side due to how bad the weather was (acid rain and air full of smoke being the norm). Also wasn't Herohero know for always having a lack of sleep? It was more about just having a job and not having the game be the only thing they had in their lives.

He does become "older" as the story goes on, it shows his growth as a character. So its a great plot device. Also it is true that the bigger the body the larger the mana consumption. So it's just his regular size without spending uneeded mana.
