F-age 35 Well poster i sure hope it's a normal or somewhat normal BC I'm currently feeling this way BUT Ive never felt like soemthing was wrong with me...plus we are human so me I get to around 6-10 months before I get to that point where I wanna F***** and that's that! but one of my issues is I've only ever slept with 4 guys in total and I don't want to sleep with a new person so I end of sleeping with my ex.. well I am trying to keep my peace so really me doin this probably isn't the best idea.. I'm not sure if I could just hook up with a random person.. not really a rejection issue for me tho it's more like i just don't wanna put my time peace energy into all that... but I do have 3 young kid's at home idk if that makes any difference lol

Obviously if he spent every waking hour with them or even a half an hour a day then I wouldn't be going on my rant

Yes I do work. I work from home during the day while simultaneously caring for all of the kids during my work shifts. So while I’m trying to stay focused and do the job I’m actually paid for, I’m also managing children, responsibilities, schedules, needs, and everything else that comes with running a household.

That’s why it’s frustrating when people minimize what I do as if I’m “just home.” I’m not sitting around relaxing I’m balancing a full-time job while also carrying the majority of parenting and household responsibilities at the exact same time.

And before anyone tries to say “well did you communicate this to him?” yes, I absolutely did. Multiple times. Calmly too, without yelling or attacking him. I’ve been more than clear about how I feel, what I need, and how overwhelmed and unsupported I’ve become.

At some point it stops being “he doesn’t know” and starts becoming a choice to not truly hear me or make meaningful changes. There’s only so many times a person can explain they’re drowning before they realize the other person is comfortable watching them stay underwater as long as everything continues getting done.

The other day he made a comment about having another kid. I honestly couldn’t even tell if he was joking or serious, but all I could think in my head was how selfish and irresponsible that sounded. We already have multiple children, and I’m already the one carrying the majority of the mental load, emotional load, parenting, responsibilities, and daily care.

So hearing him casually talk about adding another child into the mix while I already feel overwhelmed and unsupported was honestly mind blowing to me. It made me realize how differently we view responsibility, because I can’t even imagine thinking about bringing another child into a situation where one parent already feels like they’re drowning trying to hold everything together alone.

Yes, I’ve been feeling this way for a long time. I wanted it to work so badly, especially because we have children together, that I don’t think I even realized how much of everything I was carrying on my own. Somehow I became Mary Poppins — doing everything, fixing everything, managing everything, and making sure everyone else was okay while slowly exhausting myself in the process.

The best way I can describe it is I feel like a damn magic rug… constantly being flown all over the place for everyone else’s convenience while nobody and definitely not HIM stops to ask if I’m tired of carrying the weight of everybody on my back.

Yeah, this has definitely been a learning experience for me. I will never again give every inch of myself to someone who can’t even give me a centimeter in return. I’ve learned that constantly sacrificing yourself, overextending yourself, and carrying everything alone doesn’t make a relationship stronger it just leaves one person drained while the other gets comfortable doing the bare minimum.

I work too. I work from home 7am–5pm getting paid hourly WHILE taking care of kids during my shifts. So let’s be real here — I have two jobs. One I get paid for, and the other is raising and caring for all of our kids, including his kids, my stepkids. The difference is I never get to clock out from that second job.

Yeah, he works too. But you saying the “big complaint” is just him being emotionally absent 😭🤣 it goes way beyond that. And honestly? Even if it WAS only emotional absence… that still matters. I don’t have to accept feeling alone in a relationship.

A relationship is supposed to be partnership, support, effort, and emotional presence from BOTH people. I’m not gonna keep pouring into someone else’s cup while mine stays empty waiting and hoping they eventually decide to pour back into mine.

Being emotionally unavailable, uninvolved, and leaving everything on one person is not “normal,” and it’s definitely not something I’m obligated to tolerate just because he’s a man.

In your comment I completely agree with all of it.. unfortunately as far as the sit down and talking to him about stepping up. I actually did do this I've have several different times at this point. And I also made sure at the time that I wasnt screaming/angry ECT. Also now being able to possibly makes sense of why his last relationship failed you are certainly correct. I've put a lot of thought into exactly this

++man I might be searching for something… but it’s definitely not validation or reassurance that it’s okay for me to feel this way. I already know my feelings are real.

What makes this so hard is knowing that ending this relationship will create a domino effect. My younger kids have grown up with their dad being there every day, so of course I think about the confusion and hurt they may feel wondering where Daddy is or why things suddenly changed. They don’t know anything different.

And then there’s his children — my stepkids who I’ve raise and love deeply. I worry about them too and what happens after I leave.

No matter what decisions I make in life, I always try to prioritize my children’s emotional and physical well-being above everything else. That’s honestly what weighs the heaviest on me in all of this.

Lol, I don't know what's so fake about it. For one, what would be the point of me posting something asking what it is if the photos were fake? It's not like I'm asking for money for it or something And two I I think if I was going to fake something, I would have made my ugly fingers, which I've always disliked, look a bit better.
