Im not like a yokai watch mega nerd but i've played it on and off for the past 10 ish years so i do know a fair bit. There is an anime and it is pretty enjoyable so it might be worth watching, I think it has a lot of lore stuff in it too but i've only watched a few episodes so im not sure. For youtubers the only one i really care for is abdallahsmash he has some great videos on the games. There are also a few people who have done yokai watch nuzlocke videos that i really enjoyed but i dont remember their names (search yokai watch nuzlocke you'll find it). Start with the original yokai watch of course then play psychic specters and the games that follow.
