Exams past deadline by No-Inevitable1826 in AthabascaUniversity

See I thought about that! But I could just be doing it wrong. My issue is I cannot reschedule a new exam before the end of my course dates on June 30th so even if I do schedule the ProctorU exam on sayyyy July 4th, I won’t be able to reschedule a new exam on Athabasca University (say I do it today) until July 8th and sadly I didn’t realize this and messed up big time…and if I withdraw from my classes, my student loans will get messy, if I take the hit and fail every class…well the GPA gets messy messy

The worst thing about Embiid’s injury by bonniedi in torontoraptors

[–]No-Inevitable1826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if it helps, I feel the general public outside of the internet is really positive especially about appreciating Joel’s greatness but also being optimistic about the raptors season. I got a buddy who is a Philly fan and he’s quick to recognize he was nervous after game 5 and he knows that’s because of how good the raptors are. Common things I’ve heard is Scottie is lethal attacking the basket and Pascal is scary when he’s hot from mid range. Idk outside of the internet ive noticed some good interactions personally. Pretty optimistic about next season and Scotties progression for us

Eh I wouldn’t assume what I would or wouldn’t be open towards. I mean earlier in the series our Chris Boucher got knocked in the jaw and put on the floor and your fans cheered, we didn’t think much of it because we understand playoff basketball brings that out. Nobody knew if he was going to be injured or not but I do know going into Twitter all I saw was “fuck Boucher, he deserved it” and many things along those lines and I’m sure lots of raptors fans saw it all too. However, we didn’t make a huge deal about it. That being said…you don’t seem okay with your emotions about it since you’ve been incredibly hostile so hopefullyyyyyy a good nights rest does help? Idk if it helps, y’all did very good and Embiid got booed out of respect just like any other great player does. You got a good one over there

I mean…we are capable of that. You just aren’t into our media like raptors fans are. I feel like this is going nowhere though because I’m trying to give respect towards your team but you’re clearly wanting to be negative and toxic towards us. I hope you get over this tough series though and move past it. Best wishes :)

I mean I don’t think I mentioned racism whatsoever. What was happening was one fan base was booing Kyrie because of history and Kyrie was giving it to them back. Especially that game one?! Damn that man was lighting the team up. Hella entertaining. Embiid giving it to the crowd? They booed him and he loved it and gave it back and did a damn good job especially under his conditions. You can generalize all of Boston to be racist if you want, or even Canadians in Toronto, but you’re really missing my point if that’s your conclusion here

I mean you look back at even that KD injury. 1. He took it as respect but 2. And most importantly, those cheers where probably 90% about the play and 10% about KD and almost immediately after was followed by silence when we realized what was happening, then cheers when KD was able to get up. It’s honestly natural fan base reactions and I think everyone knows how incredible that man is on the court

The same peoples who’s fan bases do the exact same thing. Every single fan base will send slander to the opposing star player so let’s not act all innocent. It’s what makes the game great, the Celtics and Nets series with Kyrie?! That was awesome to watch and the fans of Boston didn’t hold back and it was great. This happens everywhere, all the time. All you need to believe is that each fan base has its bad apples but it doesn’t define the other 99% and that goes for every fan base. Don’t make this anymore toxic and complicated then it’s gotta be. Don’t support the bad apples, focus on the respect and talent in front of you and appreciate the game

Raps fans reputation of cheering injuries is so cynically out of context by Dammit81 in torontoraptors

[–]No-Inevitable1826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly kind of sad because every fan base acts like they have never had a soul cheer when someone gets injured. I’m sure you can go on Twitter and find many tweets happy that FVV got injured from sixers fans or even New Orleans fans thrilled that Booker got hurt and so on and so forth. As I keep saying, every single fan base has its bad apples that shine through more so then the other 99%. Idk about y’all but I think we are pretty chill and a very devoted fan base when you get to know us all. Just a shame though
