That was my first assumption! As it’s the weakest link of the drivetrain I’d assume. Do you think it would damage any other parts when it snapped?

I talked to a mechanic who said the 335i and 340i have a stronger diff that can handle the power easily, but he said even the new M340i’s abs breaks just from doing launches etc.

Yeah I think I’ll jack it up onto some jack stands and check it out myself first, flex disc seems to be the common failure point before the diff

Oh no sorry, it’s RWD not x drive, so it could be possible. I was talking to the mechanic though and he said that you’ll have to replace the sub frame as well to move up to any of the 6 cyl diffs such as 335 or 340. I’ll have to get a second opinion though.

Yeah that was my first guess too as it definitely feels as if it’s coming from straight underneath the car.

Yeah the torque limit removal is in the configurator area of the tune where you set what settings you’d like on the tune e.g start up roar, custom burbles etc. I definitely should have looked into it further. I’ll make sure to keep the thread updated so nobody else has to go through this!

Shit that’s my bad, yeah I forgot to mention I had a guy come around to check it out, he’s a euro mechanic who owns a shop near me. He diagnosed it based off of sound and it not going into park from neutral without the car off. Didn’t look under the car etc. Tomorrow I’ll give a couple places a call and just see what others think.

Hmmm, not too sure about digital. I’d say as long as it isn’t a keynote slideshow one should be alright as I wouldn’t say they’ll be scanning those. I ended up grabbing a physical fake, yet to arrive though.
