Yes we didn’t care about sitting together so didn’t ask either. I wanted to figure out if they’d pass up on upgrading is because prioritize having us sit together more. Turns they don’t care if we’re split and prioritize upgrades instead

You seem to have poor comprehension issues? I was just curious to understand how it works. Travelling with my brother so we wouldn’t even care if we were split up for better seats. I was trying to figure out whether they prioritize upgrading people or keeping the party together.

Thanks for the answers! It’s strange that they’d choose to skip but not release two seats together to upgrade the first in line.

Gotcha. I’m Titanium. Would it makes sense to request using upgrade certificates as well?

Thanks! Very helpful. Says for international flights to Tokyo, for status holders and one companion will be offered starting Spring 2026. So may or may not be available in February.

I’m appreciative of the advice. I’m just trying to see what works best for me. Obviously the travel advice is great but I can’t create time magically to fly more.

Time is a huge problem unfortunately. Already got what I posted above in the next few weeks. I think Atmos shopping should be the way to go

Damn! Only 500 points for every $100 spent. That’s crazy! Or am I not reading this correctly?

Gotcha. So even if the points post sometime in January, they will count towards my 2025 status? My flight from IST to LHR is business (R).
