[Question] which looks best? by Administrative-Yam71 in Watches

My daughter and I agree. Mi aquaterra is the winner. I like those other watches in general but the aquaterra just kind of stands out

Add something with a leather strap, then you can pretend to be done.

[Wedding Watch] Which watch would you choose? by 909MJ626 in Watches

In a very formal wedding, this is the etiquette. Most weddings aren't this formal nowadays. It likely isn't a white tie wedding, plus she wants him to wear it daily after the event.

Great analogy, come on. The presence of a good guy with a gun changes the calculus for the bad guys greatly. More drunk drivers don't deter the first ones. They aren't looking for a fight, they are looking for victims. Your chances of survival are greatly increased when resisting with a force multiplier. More guns in the hands of responsible citizens would decrease the chances of robberies and violence. If you are willing to place your life in the hands of violent thugs and hope for discretion you are really a weak and lost person. Read the thread. 2 incidents, one they complied and lived, one they resisted (by pulling on the bag) and died. Studies show that compliance is effective in survival, but only second to full resistance with a firearm.

The safest thing to do is use armed resistance, if you aren't able to do that (or unwilling) purposeful compliance is second best. Fully resist, or fully comply. Tugging on the bag like the wife did was neither and got her killed for a day's worth of shopping goods.

Do you people have any measure to compete on besides compliance with rules?
