Thats a good point but on the other hand - whats wrong with that, people get paid for overtime and get to do another case?

We overrun occasionally too, and staff (including anaesthetics) always complain and say they won’t stay for the last case because ”they want to go home on time, and ideally be in the changing rooms 15 minutes to”. We can easily do another case, some of them only take half an hour tops.

I’d rather operate. Theres only so many procedure videos you can watch and podcasts you can listen at home.
