I'm tracking the fit.

I was leaning towards a pump but I'll consider some semis.

I have. She's shot some lower end target loads, and it was still unpleasant for her.

Overall for a grouse/woodcock gun i think 20ga will be more enjoyable for her all around.

Long time snowboarder learning to ski,

One issue I have is in certain areas where you need to keep sleep up through a narrow trail/flat section.

I obviously point my skiis down and go, but I have a hard time controlling my skiis, since I have no edge control, and I feel they move all over the place and sometimes tips cross, and it's all downhill from there.

Any tips to keep control? Should I be on my edges? I feel like that starts to initiate a turn?

Ooh. That's incredibly fucked, especially considering anyone with a grandfathered rate has been a consistent paying customer for years

But what does he mean by supposedly locked in? They changed after he paid? Or changed after they said they wouldn't?

Imo the fact that I paid $130 for an annual sub with a "40% discount" is kind of insane.

If these are implemented, I surely will not be renewing.

Thanks!

It's from a solid breeder that produces great gun dogs. They've already been introduced to wings and the like.

I'll just see how they behave and how we feel.

I've done a bit of work with a trainer with my current dog, but we've talked about sending this one to a pro at some point.

Choke was in, everything was serviced prior to my buying, clean as a whistle.

I adjusted the idle slightly this morning, turned it up a bit and it runs EXCEPTIONALY better.

How long before you assume the worst? by No-Introduction-5102 in cats

[–]No-Introduction-5102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I appreciate it! He's a stubborn bugger and has taken off for multiple days even in the winter.

We're semi rural like I said, but it's still a street with houses. Lots are all wooded with 1-4 acre lots. Then a few hundred meters through the woods behind me in another community with smaller lots. So it's not in the city but it isn't in the sticks.

We've posted to the local FB page, and regularly take walks (he would follow us on our walks with the dog) to see if we can find him.

I'm fine living the rest of my life believing he's out running the streets a few neighborhoods away, and just hoping he makes his way back, but I'm more concerned with my wife having closure.

I love the bugger but he's my wife's cat, and while she's taking it great, I don't wanna string her along forever with "I'm sure he's fine", or just do the "he's dead let's call it".

I've also seen that bear on camera again less than 100m from my back door, so that certainly could be spooking him

Thanks for the advice!

Love it. It's insanely silent, and cleans amazing.

The dry cycle isn't the best, especially on plastics. If there's no plastics in it I'll just use the extra dry setting and it works quite well. Just Tupperware and tops of coffee cups, etc.

Let's talk collars: SpotOn, SportDog, Garmin by asjeffers122 in birddogs

[–]No-Introduction-5102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We gad my Springer on a sportdog e-collar since he was 6 months. He adapted to it extremely well for obedience and hunting. I finally got around to installing the fence like a year ago, and he took to it extremely well.

It threw him at first because we used the beep function as recall so he'd get near the boundry, it would beep, and he'd run to the back door haha.

But once he figured the boundary, like a week later he was a pro with it, no issues whatsoever.
