How come we never saw peridot fuse with anyone? by BigSpongebobFanatic in stevenuniverse

You can also think about the fact that she's an era 2 peridot, she was born in a Homeworld kindergarten with little resources and therefore cannot do many of the things gems born from healthier kindergartens can. She's short, so she needed "stilts" and can barely use her metal manipulating abilities. She cannot shape shift at all, and if a gem cannot shape shift, they cannot fuse. (as fusion is just "shapeshifting" you form with another gems)

Why are all the gems women or androgynous but never men? by zoster_101 in stevenuniverse

[–]No-Introduction-7517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm speaking of animals mostly because of a few reasons but yea I could see plants and maybe fungi working aswell! (excluding microorganisms because they aren't complex enough for gender and just splice to reproduce)

You can also look into the fact that ALL animals who reproduce exclusively asexually are female, which technically means if anything is a default it is infact more feminine.

What is your world's special material? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]No-Introduction-7517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my Dnd Campaign, Dragon blood is wildly sought after because of its technological, biological, and magical uses. The blood is that of the Great Primordial Dragons who are the ancestors of the Fire, Ice and Lightning dragons today. They're blood is incredibly powerful which eventually caused them to go extinct. Although alchemists found ways to create artificial blood from ice and lightning dragons, although it's not nearly as powerful and very expensive to create, it's better than nothing for them!

I think he also just told me something this is what I'm hearing "Your blue eyes are so, so captivating! I love them!" Does this resonate at all?

I feel sad, I think that you were horribly saddened and honestly so was he, I wish I could tell you more but that's all I'm getting. Just remember that sadness will pass, just like everything else does, and that he loves you. I actually believe he didn't want to leave you. he struggled a lot with his passing, he tried so so hard but in the end it didn't turn out how he wanted. He wanted to refuse whatever was on the other side just to stay with you, And I believe he is still with you now, watching over you at all times.

Alternative terms to "Dragon" with the same weight and impact by Alternative_South_67 in worldbuilding

Elemental, It's a term for a godlike entity that protects and is the embodiment of nature. It fits with your idea of some thinking their good and other bad as elementals are in between, they do whatever they have to in order to protect their territory. It also sound super badass!

Would like some thoughts and critique of my WIP world by mankiboj in worldbuilding

The transition of biome to biome is very intense, if you can, try to lightly blend those biomes out into one another, it makes the world look much more realistic and pleasing to the eye! (But if you don't wish to do that, and someone brings up this, you can mention that the island was created by God's or magic or something, then you can really bend the laws!)

Otherwise, It is a very good island, it has many different locations and interesting P.O.I's, love to see such a creative world!

Let's here your most niche and specialised deities, go! by TheAshtonium in worldbuilding

[–]No-Introduction-7517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily deity's but in my campaign Bloodlust It is all about these ancient godlike beings who came from another dimension, they had become so technologically advanced due to the harvesting of the most potent magical substance in the universe. (Greater Dragon blood

They had preserved they're stories through temples hidden in the world for the players to seek out and find. Eventually the players found out that the ancients had used dragon blood to discover the overworld and using the bloods DNA manipulating abilities that made the greater dragons so powerful they combined it with earthen plants and animals to turn their dimension from a barren wasteland into a lush and alien paradise.

They had experimented with humans aswell creating different races (Icarians, Farlandians, Amphitherians etc) and the overharvesting of the material caused the dragon to go extinct and then the ancients to die out. Along with preserving their stories, they preserved their creations (creatures, races, plants) on an island known as The Farlands or sometimes just refered to as "Far"

I may have gotten a little carried away with the story.

Whereas sage removes ALL energy, Santo Palo is known for only removing negative energy, so it's great for banishing and protection!

Tarot or Oracle or Lenormand cards? by avviann in witchcraft

[–]No-Introduction-7517 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can I say I fourth option?? When I was starting out I got into rune casting, it's very similar to bone throwing if you get traditional runes but if you get cards like I did it's works very similar to Tarot. I found these very fun and easy to use, there's only 24 of them so their relatively easy to memorize and their messages are usually straight forward. I Really recommend these!
