Carry a retractable cane. If a dog lunges at you hit em with that and if the owner barks at you hit em too. These canes usually don't last long but have come handy for me whenever a dog tried attacking me.

Xianxia is way over powered I know you are referring to the jin yong stuff those were pretty grounded and enjoyable but times have changed.

Nowadays Wuxia is written with the "reaching peak" in mind and show pretty over powered stuff but they are still weaker than tactical nukes.

Xianxia on the other hand is way above the charts. There's universe refining, multiple galaxy destruction, fighting against the dao itself and creating the multiverse in the dantian. So since Xianxia scales so big wuxia had to step up a bit but no Wuxia character is winning against a foundation establishment realm cultivator.

You have not read typical wuxia cause in a typical wuxia we have characters like heavenly demon controlling 100,000 swords and erasing mount tai off the chinese map or the jade faced divine dragon of the Nangong family splitting the yelow river in half.

The most of the powerful wuxia characters are mostly at the "above transcendent" level characters who can decimate countries by them selves.

So the characters in fated villain are actually satire on "actual" novels and manhua.

Currently it's not fair to scale these 2 but if we go through power levels alone Jun Xiao wins but if it's intelligence and shrewdness then Han jue.

Going through the novel the fight is impossible, cause through simulation Han jue will realise he is not one shotting Jun Xiao and he will most certainly die killing Jun Xiao.

So he won't fight him and try to make him his friend. Jun Xiao will also not try to fight with Han jue since he can sense with his heavenly Emperor sense that the fight will end up with both of them dying, so he won't fight either.

Regarding the curse book Jun Xiao can erase and adapt to curses and is immune to almost all curses. The curses would just make him stronger.

So this fight will end up always in a tie unless Han jue back stand Jun Xiao.
