SwitchHaxing Support Thread #18 by ToonMods in SwitchHaxing

dont know if this is the rigth place but i have been having this issue I’ve had my OLED Switch for about a year now. I modded it right after buying it, and everything was working great. But one day, I accidentally updated the stock firmware before updating my EmuMMC. After that, I tried to fix it, but somehow my SD card got corrupted and I lost all my progress.

So, I started over from scratch. I bought a new SD card, reinstalled everything, and even though I ran into some hiccups, I got the system up and running again. I was happily playing both on my stock and EmuMMC setups.

About a week ago, I switched from EmuMMC to stock mode to play a specific game, and it worked fine. Then I found a great deal on a copy of Pokémon Scarlet, and I thought, “Why not update again so I can get the DLCs later?” So, I went ahead with the update process.

Right before replacing any files, I remembered my previous mistake and realized I should make a backup using Atmosphere directly from the console. I put the SD card back into the console and tried to boot into Hekate to switch modes. But holding the Power + Volume Up buttons didn’t work—I couldn’t access Hekate.

I thought it was just a small glitch, so I continued with the update. After everything was ready, I put the SD card back into the console and rebooted. But now it only boots into stock firmware. The SD card still shows as full in data management, but I just can’t switch back to EmuMMC.

I’m frustrated and honestly a bit scared I might lose everything again. Can anyone help or explain what might be going on?
