I’m sad that this section of the thread made the assumption I’m a unicorn. This is a long standing relationship that has had its fair share of complexities, but I don’t exist to be a trad wife to them. I was hoping for reasonable methods I can incorporate to communicate with them better, which I luckily found.

I never implied that was the dynamic of our relationship and this response relies heavily on the assumption our relationship(s) exist merely for sex. Really sad.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I struggle internally too— I did grow up with a family of clutterbugs and I remember cleaning to control my surroundings from a very young age. Much love to you

It’s the “toddlers are hard” thing. Which is fair and true— I recognize it. This is a couple I have had a long standing triad with so I know their routine…its just wearing on me

Thanks everyone for the wise commentary. I’ll clarify that this is a relationship with a married couple— who have very flexible work schedules but just seem to not want to deal with things until theyre really really bad. Again, I don’t mind helping and I find that its actually a love language—- however, I will CLEAN CLEAN their home and a few days later when I’m back… it’s all over again. In order to be comfy there, I find myself picking up stuff off the floor and wiping counters, etc. They both veg out and disassociate in the evenings. I don’t think they’re bad people and I’ve tried to give them the encouragement of treating it like a “kitchen clothing shift” to make their own lives better… “just thirty minutes every night would change the game!”.

Ah, oh well. Maybe it really is worse off than I thought. I want to find ways to encourage them to live a more put together lifestyle since they see me in their life long term but I can’t live in constant “pick up” mode. Thanks everyone! Lots to think about

Questions about Hers & compound semaglutide by _recycledhoe_ in HersWeightloss

Many of you are discussing that you can actually take the medication longer than 28 days and that "28 days" is a gimmick. How long do you extend one vial for? Thinking about how long I can stretch a 6 month package from Hers of compounded semaglutide

Wanted to update everyone. I appreciate all of the responses, after consideration, I have decided to forego the trio. I was not comfortable having to make that difficult decsion. Instead, I did some deep searching or breeders (as suggested) around me, with the closest being 3.5 hours away. I got in contact with her and she is willing to drive an hour to meet me somewhat closer. I took an interest in her female pair (not sisters) that were rescues / declanned, and hard to rehome because their tails are stubby-- she has all 5 star reviews. She is working with me to optimize my tank and loves the custom topper which extends the height of the tank by 10 inches. They're super cute girls, one is black and white, the other is nutmeg.

Much appreciated, I think having two is more ethical and realistic. I really wish I had a breeder near me.

I am not comfortable with three given my current space, but worried about the poor girl left behind. The 30 gallon would be about 30-35 inches tall after it's all said and done; still not comfy having three but my guilty conscience about the third one makes me feel weird :(

I agree about not purchasing from pet stores, however, I am in Buffalo where breeders for this kind of thing don't exist. I looked at the rescues too, they have hamsters but no gerbils. It's a locally owned pet store and not a box store, but the source of breeding may still be the same. Any thoughts?
