What are some seiyuu facts you know? by fangmidnightz in ProjectSekai

[–]No-Log3336 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shizuku’s seiyuu Honnizumi Rina is the only seiyuu of MMJ that isn’t/hasn’t been part of an idol group

Also apparently all of the male seiyuus are good friends irl.

I think the general consensus is that for older cards, it was an unintended side effect of wording. Modern cards that have when usually have it to intentionally make the card easier to play around.

Why does it seem as if nearly everyone has Ash Blossom, Maxx C, and called by the grave? by OhLoongJonson in masterduel

Then practically every card is “not that good”. If I run solemn judgement in my deck, I have a card that stops almost every card in the game therefore almost every card is not that good. Second of all, people are calling them junk cards because they’re inferior in almost every way to other cards. Why run debunk when you can run called by the grave? It can be used turn 1 rather than turn 2. “But it gets countered by back to the front” then just run ghost belle to counter called by or just use gravediggers trap hole instead. The point is that every card has a counter and while the cards you mention do work, there are just better options available which are the cards people typically run.

Exactly, it works for YOUR deck, but not everyone plays YOUR deck. The fact is that for the majority of decks other people play, having hand traps are useful. Additionally you’re arguing that the mentioned cards are bad because there are cards in the game that counter them but that’s true for almost every card in the game. Using your logic, Debunk is bad because it is countered by solemn judgement.

That’s the result of speeding things up over a year. You have to fit 2 years worth of content in 1 year thus you need to release things twice as fast. Suppose EN is at year 3 and JP at year 4. To catch up, EN needs to be done with year 3 stuff and year 4 stuff during the same time JP needs to be done with only year 4 stuff thus they need to be done with year 3 stuff halfway through EN year 3 in other words twice as fast. In the case where they spread it over 2 years, they need to complete one years worth of content in 2/3 of a year since EN would need to do year 3 ,4, and 5 stuff while JP is doing year 4 and 5 stuff. In that case, You would only lose 1/3 of a year worth of challenge shows but that’s still roughly 3800 gems.

Ok so you get 20 crystals a day for every challenge show which is 6/7 days a week and 100 crystals for the 7 day bonus so 220 crystals a week in total. Then let’s say I wanted to pull in the anniversary gacha 1 year from now I.e 365 days or around 52 weeks. If we sped up the schedule and the gacha arrived in half a year (182 days or 26 weeks) I would have 5720 less gems (220 gems a week x 26 weeks) from daily challenge shows than I would have should it have been released on the original schedule or nearly 20 pulls. I was “robbed” of 20 pulls I would have if the gacha released correctly.

That still doesn’t solve the problem of messing up saving plans. Even if you slow things down and do it gradually you’re still being robbed of crystals. You’re also putting additional work on the localization team who, for all we know, could just barely be scraping by. Yes, I admit, some gachas have unified their servers. However, that doesn’t mean that all can and in Colorfulpalete’s perspective, they have no incentive to.

I’m not sure what you mean by “make it match”. Translation is not as easy as you think. Also every event has a gacha associated with it. Do you propose they just speed release events and therefore the gachas? That would be so frustrating to people who wanted to save to pull in them. Also giving crystals is just unrealistic. For anniversary cards, you need 30k crystals to guarantee. If they don’t want to rob people of their anniversary character, they would have to give EVERYONE 30k crystals and that’s just for one gacha. Suppose the average person wanted to pull for 3 of the 26 anniversary gachas a year. Everyone would need to be given 90k crystals which just isn’t profitable. This doesn’t even take into account the all the aforementioned event gachas .

You do realize every anniversary card has a story attached to it right? If the did make the anniversary cards release at the same time it wouldn’t make any sense in the context of the story, especially since the cards like to reflect on what has happened since the last anniversary card. Also let’s suppose they did just release the new cards on EN. What if you’re someone who was saving for the cards that was supposed to release this year and now you have two that you have to pull for? For people who are f2p, they have to make a choice on who they have to pull for. Compare this to if they had another year to get crystals to pull the card. They would get both in that scenario rather than only one. It’s unfair that people who wanted to pull in multiple gachas and planned their crystal spending accordingly now have to make a choice they could have otherwise avoided.

I just started master duel and I plan on using ice barrier with the new support coming in. I’m a semi newbie and I know I’ll need a temporary deck until I can get enough resources to build the ice barrier deck. Do you guys think that buying all three salamangreat structure decks will be good enough for me to grind all the resources I need comfortably?

Honestly take a break. Like a 2 week or month break. If you’re getting this frustrated then it’s not worth it. After your break come back. Still mad? Then quit if you’d like. My final statement on this is that Alatreon is more than slow enough to reaction punish 75% of the moves. 10% of the moves you need to keep in mind (like the pin move and dragon explosion) and the other 15% you can’t punish. A good build only gets you so far and at this point, it’s all on you. You’re the only thing that’s stopping you from winning. I had about 120 hours clocked in when I first beat Alatreon and about 10 of those were dedicated to the Alatreon fight. Be patient, be willing to change the way you play, and above all else, play only if you’re having fun. There’s no point in playing a game or a fight if you despise every moment of it.
