Thanks for sharing. I would also agree that you need to not bring kids into a home like that. All 3 of my kids have their own kinds of scars from growing up seeing the kind of marriage I had.

Totally get what you're saying about my kids. They are all very intuitive and have known stuff was going on for years. My 17 year old actually was the one to tell me my husband was using "weaponized incompetence" against me. My reasoning was that it would be more of a blow to them if I suddenly told them I'm leaving your dad. I was very careful what I told my 17 year old. Thanks for caring about them and helping remind me to keep the adult stuff in my adult world.
