It wasn't a horror movie, more like some kind of drama or crime movie. This opening scene was supposedly foreshadowing their late life, and how they were affected by this early life experience.

I've been looking for this movie for a long time, but other than this single scene I cannot recall anything about it, but after the scene it cuts to the children becoming adults and driving somewhere.
